Our Founder

Carol Turchin Monderer is CEO of Carol Monderer Publishing. She is also President and CEO of the Monderer Foundation, a private foundation that expands life’s possibilities for children and adults with multiple disabilities; and President and CEO of Alphagenome Inc., a venture capital firm.

Previously, she was Chairman of the Board of Standing Tall, a school for students with special-needs. Ms. Turchin Monderer also was Executive Vice President of Marketing and Strategic Planning and a director of Genpathway Inc., a biotech company.

Carol Turchin Monderer was one of the founders of Box Hill Systems Corp. a manufacturer of data storage products. There, she was Executive Vice President of Marketing, Executive Vice President of Sales, and Chairman of the Board from Box Hill’s inception to its IPO and listing on the New York Stock Exchange. Box Hill merged to form Dot Hill Systems Corp., which was recently acquired by Seagate Technology. Ms. Turchin Monderer subsequently served as Executive Vice President of Strategic Planning and Vice Chairman of the Board. Ms. Turchin Monderer earned a B.A. at Vassar College.
